David Flair... Daddy's Big Disappointment

I apologize for leaving this out of the shownotes, but now you know what look to give a friend or colleague whenever they truly disappoint you:

Episode 121 - "That tastes like apricots... and genocide"

For their 4 month and one week anniversary, the triceratops tribunal is caught in a moderate to barely noticeable whirlwind of actual news hitting close to their "Northern" Connecticut home: the idiots of God Hates Fags apparently have it out for New Britian High School and decided to let everyone who hangs out at a high school from 6:50 AM to 7:30 AM know about it. So the three homeless people sleeping underneath the picnic tables will get the message. If you've never heard of this insane site, here's a fake news broadcast poking fun of them... with Aussie accents! Double word score:

Speaking of current affairs, the Fair Use three wheeler also discuss the recent events of the Miss USA pageant. Unlike every other blog ever, though, we won't post the offending footage. We'll post this music video explaining recent events through auto-tune, because God Hates Auto-Tune:

And as your mild-mannered host and resident king of electricity, you can hear the child-like wonder in my voice as I discovered Cleavagefield on Cinemax. Here's the movie's trailer, which is, of course, possibly not suitable for work. Cleavagefield at your own risk:

One thing we unabashedly love at Fair Use Law is retro gaming goodness. And the only way to improve on the wonders of our past is to make masochistically hard rom hacks of said game that only Rain Man can beat:

And finally, with all the hoopla about the economy, gay marriage, legalizing weed, pirates, swine flu, and Ali Larter in Obsessed sweeping the news, it's easy to forget the true debate affecting our people on a daily basis: who would win in a fight - Mega Man or Donkey Kong?

Roddy Piper's Many Eyepokes... of DOOM!

Sometimes the videos was post here on Fair Use Law aren't just for shits and giggles. No, sometimes they are a real eye opening experience. Case in point: our next showcase - a compilation of Rowdy Roddy Piper poking guys in the eyes. You might say, "But that seems like a cheap move that barely hurts." Well watch as Roddy Piper somehow makes it look even cheaper and 10 times as fake-painful.

Knock knock... who's there? Wrestlicious!

When I watch WWE I feel a mighty huge void,
Because knock knock jokes and easy puns they avoid,
Their aversion to cheap yuks is mighty suspicious,
So when I want to hate myself, make mine Wrestlicious!

Episode 120 - "It's a lot like Schrödinger's tentacles"

Ladies and gentlemen, simmer down. I know I can hardly contain the jubilation and hardy good times spirit of the triceratops tribunal this week as Fair Use Law celebrates its 5th month of operation.

It's not unlike a creepy Asian horror movie, which may or may not have a disgusting twist ending.

And now onto the supplemental material!

I talk at great length this episode about the Korean movie Dumplings, and thanks to the wonder of lonely people and youtube, here's a clip of said movie:

To prove that I'm not going insane, here's a clip of the incomparable Bai Ling performing on VH-1's "Don't Forget The Lyrics," which I'm not ashamed to admit is the only place I remember her from:

We also discuss the latest sensation sweeping the nation this week: teabaggin'! It's fun to use words with two meanings. Teabaggin' is so popular, that some extremely disenfranchised and equally socially awkward people decided to take their tea party to Second Life with hilarious results. Here is their online advertisement to get you to join their sullen ranks:

To prove that we are socially aware and politically minded, I present to you the only Tea Party we, the Fair Use Law podcast, endorse:

I'm-ah gonna weeeeen the Death Race!

If you are looking for a nice movie to cuddle up with that love one this weekend, may I unrecommend Death Race? Thanks to the power of Mario Kart, you can enjoy all there is to enjoy in a two minute morsel!

Episode 119 - Clip Show A - "My dad was a Jesus Carpenter... wait"

To celebrate the Triceratops Tribunal's first clip show, made of 100% never before heard material, outtakes, and misspoken tales of erotic dreams starring Saved by the Bell characters, I now present to you the first ever clip show show notes!

First we start with a little music to set the mood...

Now that you are feeling a bit wound up, why don't we try a little DS foreplay with Steal Princess:

Now is the time where I turn the soundtrack down a bit to make the romancing more romantical. I have the new single from that hot, fresh, dope R&B singer, Baby T-Pain:

Perhaps now that we've lulled you into a romantic mode, we talk about how you are really feeling about life, with everything you need to know about Neon Genesis Evangelion in 39 seconds:

Now, honey pie sugar bun, I feel like we are one. Perhaps it is time to move this show note relationship to the next level. Some experimentation perhaps? Maybe some teabaggin'?

Oh yes, I do believe we have repopulated the earth, Show Notes! Rejoice!

Genuinely Good Music Video Interlude

Let's take a break from the inanity for a genuinely great music video and song, from the seminal band Depeche Mode. Here's their new video for the single "Wrong"

Episode 118 - "Guys, syphilis is serious."

With the unlikely timing of our 18th episode coming so fast on the heels of April Fools Day, I do believe I should warn you: episode 118 of the Fair Use Law podcast is April Fools Day prank free. Well... except for the easter egg maybe...

And with that, the Tribunal of ADHD brings forth its fully legal new episode unto the world. While we did not have a hand in any merry pranking this April 1st, we sure do like to recap the successful ones other have perpetrated. With that, here's a rundown of the best.

04-01-2009 got off on a weird foot for the 2-3 people still following Bob's Game, as an actual gameplay demo of the first, excruciatingly fourth wall breaking minutes was leaked. How can we, your local Bob-ologists, trained to specialize in all that is Bob of Bob's Game, explain the entire demo in one animated gif? Like so:

Yes, that seems about right. In the meantime, what was originally a clever ploy to port Super Mario Bros to the Commodore 64 has now been updated with original levels and endorsed by Nintendo itself for its DS handheld. Giana Sisters DS is only available in Europe so far, but importhounds like myself have tried it and I do say we approve. As fans of retro gaming and great video game music, I present two of my favorite things in the follow preview of said game:

Fox Studios possibly attempted an April Fools Day prank that went horribly awry, as they forgot the recipients of said prank should be anyone else but themselves. Like a pirated bootleg of the word of god, comic book geeks scrambled for a leaked workprint copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine so they could officially be the first in their comic shop to moan about how Deadpool was treated. For the record, Fair Use Law does not condone piracy in any form (*wink*) and I totally called the entire Wade Wilson plot about two episodes back. To celebrate, here's how the Wolverine movie would have actually come out if we lived in a perfect world:

The crowd at Blizzard always seems to be on top of the April Fools Shenanigans and this year was no different. While Fair Use Law recognizes that filtering their entire World of Warcraft forum to read like roleplaying prose, while in turn filtering their roleplay forum to sound like an IRC warez chatroom, was the better prank, sadly it didn't make for good YouTube fodder like their other prank:
