Billy Idol Is Cyberpunk: Iron Man

This past week, in the Fair Use Law cyberframe, our Lawnmower Man brought to our attention the under looked and often mocked 1993 concept album by Billy Idol: Cyberpunk. While others might look at it with scorn as an established rock icon uses and abuses the cyberpunk subculture for his own means, we couldn't care less and just like the delightful synths and chilled songs. The only single Idol has continued to acknowledge from this CD, however, is Shock to the System, which has one of the coolest music videos ever. Look for the Tetsuo the Iron Man influence!
