For the first entry in our new weekly feature here at fairuseradio.com, what better way to go than with a classic cult movie that not enough people have heard about but everyone should: Freaked. After the success of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bonus Journey, Alex Winter branched out with an MTV sketch show called Idiot Box which eventually led to one of the weirdest movies ever made. Reportedly cooked up over a lot of drugs with the band the Butthole Surfers, Freaked has everything you could want in a movie about environmental pollution: Mr. T in make up, rastafarian eyeballs toting machine guns, more stop motion animation than humanly possible, and even styrofoam cups... though they are bad for the environment. Keep an eye out for Keaneu Reeves as Ortiz the Dog Boy in an uncredited role!

Friday Night Netflix: Freaked
Every Friday night, Fair Use Law, as a public service to all couples who would rather stay home and cuddle in front of a game console or blu-ray player, recommends a Netflix movie available instantly.
