For people who watch the Death Note anime, Maximum the Hormone is no stranger to you. But for those of us who's Death Note soundtrack exposure only goes so far as wildly inappropriate Red Hot Chili Peppers songs, it comes as quite a shock that such a crazy and original J-Metal band would get such a high profile gig as doing the opening to one of the more critically acclaimed animes of our time.
