Episode 307 - "The Only Thing That Grows There Is Sadness"

Es bueno el jamons y el quesos mis amigos as the Fair Use Law podcast have finally hit the fabled level of 307. This week in an action packed, double sized edition of X-Factor comics, the triceratops tribunal try to hide their geekgasming glee over the over the top violence and language of Kick-Ass, come up with the worst name ever for a Harvest Moon farm and then can’t stop using it, wonder if the Phillies fan who projectile vomited on an off duty cop just might be a secret mutant, and worry about Gary Numan’s well being after the god of volcanoes being against him ever playing in the United States again.

Starting things off with the adorably inappropriate awesomesness, here is a deleted scene (I'm pretty sure) from the movie Kick Ass where Nicholas Cage, playing Big Daddy, gives his daughter, the #1 scenestealer of the cinematic adventure Hitgirl, her birthday present and a little pop quiz:

When a morbidly obese possible-mutant vomits on an off duty police officer and his daughter, I promise you that Fox 29 is there:

We also discussed our lack thereof of nostalgia for Liz Phair on the podcast, as we could not remember a single note of her music yet remembered she showed nipple on an album cover. Having uncovered this old Letterman performance, I can see why our minds would try to repress her music, because she sounds like someone blew up a copy of Sony's Singstar:

As a consolation prize for Gary Numan after missing Coachella this past weekend thanks to God's volcanic ash fury, here's an excellent HD video of him performing "Cars" with his new guitarist Robin Finick and his last band, Nine Inch Nails. Come for the moog solo, stay for the hot tambourine action!

And lastly, another week, another Naughty Bear teaser to end our show notes with. This might just be Fair Use Law's most anticipated game of 2010, folks:
